Welcome to PAADA

Mission Statement: The Newport Partnership Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse wishes to organize the Newport Area and empower children, youth, adults and seniors to make healthy decisions regarding the use of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs.

Goals:

  1. Educate individuals in Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drug Abuse prevention; create partnerships with parents, businesses, trade associations, service groups, schools and other groups in the community.
  2. Work with the Tourism Industry to change their perception of "having a good time".
  3. Increase Community and Neighborhood attachment.
  4. Develop and/or identify peer support groups and treatment services.
  5. Increase community awareness of PAADA and it's Committees.
  6. Maintain a collaborative relationship with all economics, ethnic and culturally diverse community members.
